King Meets Representatives of the Association of Mining and Exploration Companies in Australia
His Majesty King Abdullah II met on Tuesday in the Australian capital, Canberra, with representatives of the Association of Mining and Exploration Companies, which comprises more than 575 Australian companies operating in the mining sector and related services.
The meeting discussed prospects for cooperation between the two countries in the mining sector and ways to enhance the promotion of promising investment opportunities in the Kingdom. It also included an invitation to association members to study the available opportunities and explore prospects for investment in this sector.
His Majesty highlighted the importance of exchanging expertise and building on Jordan's strengths in the mining sector to support the growth of the national economy.
The meeting was attended by the Director of His Majesty's Office, Engineer Alaa Batayneh.
